A short subject line helps, for example “Error report”, “Privacy request” or “Copyright”. We read every message but may not reply straight away. Requests with a legal deadline are handled within it.
What to include
- Error reports: the page address, the sentence or number in question, and the source you are comparing it with
- Privacy requests (access, correction, deletion, objection, withdrawal of consent): what the request is about and what you would like us to do
- Copyright or other rights complaints: the page, the material and the action you are asking for
We cannot give advice on individual tax, pay or compensation cases.
Please do not send passwords, PPS numbers, National Insurance numbers, bank details or other people's personal information. We use your message only to deal with it. See Privacy and cookies.
