Privacy and cookies

This page explains what personal data is processed when you read DaddyNote at daddynote.co.kr/en, and which cookies may be set. It applies to the English pages of the site.
1. Who is responsible

2. What the site does not collect
There are no accounts, logins, comment forms or payments. The calculators run in your browser. Numbers you type into them are not sent to us or stored.
3. Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. When your browser requests a page, Vercel processes your IP address, the address requested, the time and browser details to deliver the page, keep the service secure and fix errors. The basis for this is our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website.

4. Fonts and style files
The English pages use a font file served from the site itself. A shared style file is also requested from jsDelivr, a content delivery network, which receives your IP address and browser details with that request.

5. Advertising: Google AdSense
Pages include the Google AdSense script, so your browser can contact Google even when no ad appears. Whether ads appear depends on the AdSense account and its settings.
Google and its partners can use cookies and similar identifiers to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google requires sites that want to show personalised ads to use a Google-certified consent management platform that supports the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Until such a consent message is in place on this site, Google says it serves only non-personalised or limited ads to those visitors, where available.

6. Analytics
We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies. For each page view it records the page address, the referring site, the country, and the device, operating system and browser type. To count unique visitors it uses a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours; your IP address is not stored. The basis is our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are read and how readers find them.

Google Analytics 4 loads only after you agree to it in the consent message shown by Google's consent tool. If you do not agree, or no consent message has been shown, Google Analytics is not loaded. If you agree, it sets the _ga cookies and sends Google the page, referring site, device details and approximate location, to measure how the site is used.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not stop every network request.
8. Email
If you email us, we process your address, name, message and any attachments to reply and to keep a record of the request. We delete general messages when they are no longer needed. Kakao Mail is used to receive and send email.

9. International transfers
Vercel, jsDelivr, Google and Kakao operate servers in several countries, including outside the UK and the EEA. Data described above may therefore be processed in those countries.
10. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you can ask for access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Send requests to the email above.
You can also complain to a data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). In the EU it is the authority in the country where you live or work.
11. Changes
When this page changes, the date at the top changes too. Earlier versions of the site (an AI tools site in Korean and English) had their own policy, which no longer applies to these pages.
