Why the search rose
When we checked Google Trends at 2:10 p.m. Korea time on Oct. 5, "panthers vs lions" was listed at 2,000+ searches in Australia and 1,000+ in the UK. In Canada, "chuba hubbard" was at 2,000+ and "carolina panthers" at 500+. The news items attached to those terms were ESPN's live score page and Hubbard touchdown clips from Sportsnet and TSN, both of which call him Canadian. The rise appears to follow the Sunday night game itself.

- Franchise records: The AP report says McMillan came close to Carolina's single-game marks of 15 catches and 201 receiving yards. We found those figures in that one report only.
- Attendance: The figure of 73,436 appears only in ESPN's data.
- Injuries: The AP report names three players who left the game, with no timetable. We did not find a second source.
